What this site collects, and what it doesn't.

This is a small independent site. It doesn't sell anything through a checkout, doesn't run ads, and doesn't broker your data. Most of it is just pages you read. The only places where information is collected are the quiz, the optional email form on the quiz results page, and the contact form.

Your answers are processed in your browser to produce your Validation Map. Anonymous scores and your fire-state are also saved to your browser's local storage so you can revisit them. That copy is not sent anywhere.

When you finish the quiz, a small anonymous event is recorded on the backend that includes: your primary language, secondary language, giving language, fire state, and whether the result was a tie, close mix, or clear lead. It does not include your email, name, free-form answers, or any identifier that can be traced back to you.

When you enter your email and click "Send my results", your device opens your own mail app with the result already drafted. The email is sent only to the address you entered. Paul is not cc'd or bcc'd. No copy is forwarded to him by default.

A second anonymous event is logged that records the same non-identifying result shape as above, plus whether you opted into private sharing. It does not include your email address, name, or free-form answers.

If you tick the box that says "Share my Validation Map privately with Paul", the site stores a record that contains:

• your email address
• your Validation Map (primary, secondary, giving language, fire state, ranked scores)
• the timestamp of your consent
• the exact wording of the consent text at the time you agreed

The record is stored in Paul's Lovable Cloud database. Only Paul and admins he authorizes can read it. It is not shared with any third party, is not used to send you marketing, and is not connected to the anonymous analytics events.

You can email paul@puzanoski.com at any time to request deletion of that record. Paul will confirm the deletion in writing.

The Connect page contact form sends what you type to Paul so he can reply. It is not used for automated marketing. There is no drip sequence and no autoresponder that impersonates Paul.

The site records aggregate quiz events (described above) that never include personal information. If Google Analytics or another analytics service is enabled, it receives only the same non-identifying result shape via the dataLayer, and never your email, name, or free-form answers.

Local storage is used for two purposes: to keep an anonymous copy of your last quiz scores on your own device, and to keep a randomly generated session identifier that lets Paul understand aggregate usage. That identifier is not an email address, phone number, or account ID, and can't be reversed into one.

All backend records (private shares, anonymous events) are stored in a Lovable Cloud project running on Supabase infrastructure. Emails you send to Paul live in his email inbox. There are no other third parties receiving your personal information from this site.

Anonymous quiz events are retained for as long as they remain useful for understanding how the work lands. There is no automatic purge schedule at this time.

Records created by the optional "share privately with Paul" box are retained until you request deletion.

Write to paul@puzanoski.com from the email address the record is under. Paul will confirm what is stored and delete it on request. There is no automated portal for this — it is one person reading a small inbox.

If the practices change, the "last updated" date at the top of this page changes with them. Material changes will be reflected in the consent text on the quiz form.
